Hmmm... hard to see any goodwill in this flyer.BUT some years ago the New York Times reported that something like 93 per cent of all retired Long Island Railroad employees drew disability pay. A few of them were pulling down over $100K a year. Everybody seemed to agree that was a problem.Is Majority Report suggesting that disability should become like gender, a question of "identify as"? I think there's a real question here: should you be able to ask for help from your fellow citizens under cover of anonymity? Surely there's no question that some people cheat every government program to help the unfortunate. Should we do something about it? If so, what? It doesn't look as if a civil conversation about that is in the offing.
