Tao Bible - Ezekiel 20:25-26

Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live; And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.
~ King James version ~

Something mysteriously formed,
Born before heaven and Earth.
~ from Verse 25 of the Tao Te Ching ~
Biblical passages such as this one describe a god who wrestles with controlling his desires. In this case, he desires to be known and worshiped. When this desire is thwarted, he becomes angry and so he desires revenge.

Tao is desireless. Tao is beyond the concepts of known and unknown. You can worship Tao or not. It doesn't matter. Tao continues to nurture the world.
