Daily Tao - Calm Please

As the still viewer, the one who witnesses the world, the one who hears music, the one who smells the air. Also as the watcher of the churning mind. That watcher is bliss -but- for the churning mind.

If you respected silence you'd turn off music, if you respected simplicity you'd sit with nature. If you respect your true self, you should calm the mind.

To have the mind in full activity in the presence of the self is to play drums as your baby goes to sleep.

Daily Tao is a reprint from Ta-Wan's blog, Daily Cup of Tao, which offers one post per day for an entire year. You also can read these posts in an ebook.
