Tao Bible - Isaiah 16:10

And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease.

Tao does not curse the land.

Nature often appears to work in mysterious ways. One year the harvest is bountiful, the next year the fields lay barren. Good times do not represent a divine reward and bad times do not represent a rebuke.

The best we can do to explain it is to say that, like everything else, nature ebbs and flows.
