Tao Bible - Isaiah 1:4

Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
~ King James version ~

There is always an official executioner.
If you try to take his place,
It is like trying to be a master carpenter and cutting wood.
If you try to cut wood like a master carpenter, you will only hurt your hand.
~ from Verse 74 of the Tao Te Ching ~
When we try to be something we are not and when we allow ego-driven desire to constitute the trunk of our tree, we fall off the path of Tao. While Tao does not become angry with us as a deity might, we are lost until we summons the wisdom to reconnect with the Way.
