Tao Bible - Deuteronomy 7:16

And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.
~ King James version ~

One of the three pillars of Taoism is compassion for those who are compassionate towards you and for those who are not.
~ possible Taoist alternative ~
Moses tells the people to show no mercy nor compassion for the people they will displace in the "promised land".

The Taoist sage Lao Tzu wrote,
I am good to the people who are good.
I am good to the people who are not good.
Because Virtue is goodness.
If you base your attitudes toward others ON others, how can you be virtuous?
