Behind the Times

I am so behind the times! I just learned that former Bush adviser Karl Rove is a paid commentator on Faux News. The only weak defense I can offer is that I don't watch Faux News nor listen to any of their supposed "fair and balanced" celebrities (like the always "neutral" Bill O'Reilly).

What does this say about the state of the mainstream media? Karl Rove shouldn't be given an electronic pulpit to spread his vile beliefs on an unsuspecting America. No, if there was any real justice in the world, the man would be serving a life sentence in prison! Yet, here he is analyzing politics on one of the major networks.

If Faux News has a man like Rove on the payroll, maybe they should add Bernie Madoff as an economic analyst and throw in Charles Manson to host weekly features on religion!

  1. You want to control what people choose to watch? That is kind of straying from the path is it not?

  2. You missed my point entirely. Maybe Faux News should hire Bin Laden as a foreign correspondent.
