It is by avoiding such indulgence that such weariness does not arise.

When we can refrain from invading the personal space of others and not attempting to suffocate them, we are able to avoid the barrier of defensiveness. The defensive bulwark is thrown up when we don't allow others to be who they are in their own skin. If we don't try to force them to be the person we envision, there is nothing for them to push back against.
