When an interrogator wants to ply information from a prisoner or suspect, what is one of the tools typically employed? Bright lights.

Ever tried to do deep thinking when you are being blinded by a bright light? It's near too impossible to accomplish. The light blots out everything. It is disorienting and can be quite painful too. About the only thing in a person's mind is to figure out a way to get away from the damn light!!
