Flowing On

Ta-Wan

There is a tight knit fence with rust and barbs. Unattractive, repulsive. One side is a beautiful flower, just visible through the fence to passers by.

Nature wiggles, she does every way there is and so always emerges. She emerges deep under the earth, she emerges in extreme cold and extreme heat, she floats on air.

A bud of the flower behind the nasty fence took just the path and passed through a tiny gap. It grew on. It developed and now as people pass by they see a wonderful red flower leaning towards them.

In time we know this flower will droop and rot. Nature will not take rest from this ever adapting way and she'll shine forth in a million new ways.

Is there not enough magic in her ways to explain and sing the song of Tao? Our words, like the burp of a hippo, are nature too but less pretty and less meaningful than any expression in her dance.

You can check out Ta-Wan's other musings here.
