Tao Bible - Isaiah 25:1

O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
~ King James version ~

Heaven and Earth are impartial;
They see the ten thousand things as straw dogs.
~ from Verse 5 of the Tao Te Ching ~
These two passages represent another fundamental difference between Christianity and philosophical Taoism.

For the Christian, God does wonderful things on behalf of his human children and we should exalt him for this.

For the Taoist, Tao neither favors nor disfavors anything. Regardless of our reaction, Tao simply is. Worship is neither requested nor required.
