Tao Bible - Ecclesiastes 7:12

For wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.
~ King James version ~

The greatest wisdom is not being aware you have any.

Some of the lines of the Bible truly perplex me -- even when read in context! It just seems rather odd to list wisdom and wealth side-by-side with the former being assigned a slightly higher place. In this sense, wisdom and wealth are aspects one works to obtain.

From the perspective of Taoism, if one works to obtain wisdom, you undermine the pursuit. Genuine wisdom is knowing without knowing you know it. When we know we know, we really don't!
