Tao Bible - Proverbs 20:1

Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
~ King James version ~

Moderation in all we do is key.
~ possible Taoist alternative ~
There is nothing inherently wrong with wine and strong drink. If you consume either in moderation, you should encounter no trouble. However, if you over-imbibe, just like if you overdo almost anything, then you may be inviting problems.

Keep to the middle path and, if you decide you must stray, do so in a safe place.
