Tao Bible - Psalm 78:38

But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.
~ King James version ~

Tao cannot turn away.
~ possible Taoist alternative ~
In telling an abbreviated history of the Hebrews, the writer states there have been many in which the chosen people angered God, but in his great benevolence, he turned away that the people would not feel is wrath.

Tao neither turns toward nor away. It is impossible to do so because Tao faces every direction.

  1. wow "full of compassion" seriously? how naive that writer must be. to pick and choose when to be compassionate is not true compassion.

  2. Of course, I would agree with your assessment!
