Tao Bible - Psalm 103:9

He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
~ King James version ~

Tao is characterized by ebb and flow, going out and returning.
~ possible Taoist alternative ~
The writer advises that God does not hold a grudge forever (though other passages indicate otherwise).

Anger inhibits the flow of qi. It is a dam that blocks us from our internal nature. Any being that refuses to let go of it will quickly consume itself.
