Utilizing the Way to lead us along our path helps in understanding the inherent ups and downs of life.

Tao shields us from nothing. Following the Way, we still face travails and, ultimately, death. The Taoist perspective, however, teaches us that life is but one of many cycles and that every being eventually transforms to nonbeing.
