Tao is formless. There is no evidence that Tao speaks in words. Tao must be met in the void where time and language is meaningless. It is there we can hear the babbling brook that is Tao.

I noted you detest the institution of religion (something I'm in total agreement with you on). In a discussion with my friend, we settled on the existence of just an 'ultimate reality'. Comparing with the ideas in taoism, just curious what you would think of such a notion! (I will add that I know a negligible amount of things about taoism!)
