Chapter 11, Verses 31 and 32 - Sun Tzu

Hence it is not enough to put one's trust in the tethering of horses, and the burying of chariot wheels in the ground. The principle on which to manage an army is to set up one standard of courage which all must reach.

  1. I've watched a documentary of "The Art of War" and it was very amazing. The ancient tactics and methods can be applied to almost every instances of our daily lives. Military tacticians even used most of its teachings. Taoism maybe ancient but its philosophy lives on even today.
