  1. Ah, I really like this one. The other day I was deep in thought for hours over something, then before bed sat down to meditate. Within moments I was laughing aloud in the darkness and quiet. It was all so silly.

  2. This made me recall a dinner I had with my Chinese painting class, mostly very proper Chinese aunties, with the Master. (Not that I am a sage.) I spilled my stemmed-glass of wine...twice..while gesturing broadly with my hands. The aunties were appalled, but the Master still warmly embraces me at class.

    And when I broke the Taoist's hermit's stool with my big western butt..how embarrassing (so to speak)...but he hugged me and added the broken stool to his pile of firewood.
