Nothing can sustain a frenetic pace for long. The cheetah is said to be the fastest land animal, but its bursts of speed are short-lived. A tornado or hurricane moves with tremendous force, but, in time, it completely dissipates. We all know people who "burn the candle at both ends"; they tend to burn out and collapse.
