from Verse Seventy-One
Those who can beat their inferiors get locked in struggle when they meet their equals.
~ Wen-tzu: Understanding the Mysteries ~
Each of us is above someone else, equal to someone else and below someone else. When we have a conflict with someone below us, how we handle ourselves will tell a great deal about the kind of person we are. Those who like to shove the loser's face in the mud and dance around in glee over victory will most likely have the same thing happen to them when they are on the losing side.
As has been stated before in this series: What goes around, comes around.
If we choose to be as gracious in victory as we are in defeat, we will find that we engage in less conflict all the way around.
