But later, when she went to live in the palace of the ruler, shared his couch with him, and ate the delicious meats of his table, she wondered why she had ever wept. A lot of people put too much emphasis on first impressions. First impressions are nothing more than our initial inkling of what we think about a person, thing or situation. Sometimes first impressions are spot on and sometimes they are off by a mile.

For me, keeping an open mind and heart is far more important.
