The way to truth is to boldly cast away the false

Ta-Wan

We are all on this path and, as we've seen recently, people can become a little upset when one person's words clash with theirs. This is though how we progress and the more false the better, so long as you cast it aside and let it leave no trace. Seeing clearly what is false, cutting it away like dead leaves and moving onwards until truth is all that remains. This is the way.

  1. Which is pretty much agreement that conflict, opposing viewpoints, debate, even nastiness, may sometimes be beneficial

Sometimes peace degenerates into apathy and stagnation, and sometimes war/suffering, helps wake us up, and serves as a catalyst for positive change.

Sometimes a troll is not just a mean and nasty person, but plays the role of the sacred trickster, whose role is to wake you up from your overly complacent peaceful slumber, challenging you to rethink everything, not always causing you to change your ideas, sometimes even strengthening your own position in the process, but either way the objective is truth, and conflict is, indeed, an essential ingredient.
