He whose boldness appears in his daring (to do wrong, in defiance of the laws) is put to death;

Passion is a tricky emotion. On the one hand, it can move us to accomplish things we might not otherwise. On the other hand, passion tends to blind us to important variables and circumstances. Sometimes, when we are in the throes of passion, we end up doing exceedingly dumb or dangerous things!!
