Daily Tao - Preparation

Knowing today that I would need certain proteins I planted one tree in a field of hundreds in a farm 3,000 miles away from my home and 50 years before the birth of this body. I ensured safe transit of the cargo and yesterday I picked up a bag of nuts from a store near my house. Today all I did was go to the cupboard, empty some nuts into a bowl and eat them. Tomorrow I will be partially made of this new protein.

A little work each day, a little reward too.

Daily Tao is a reprint from Ta-Wan's blog, Daily Cup of Tao, which offers one post per day for an entire year. You also can read these posts in an ebook.
