Daily Tao - Now This Now That

A billion raindrops fall and hit the ground, most shatter to form more.

Some big, some small, some microscopic;

All reflect what is around them, and only that.

Look into the rain, see the clouds on the lake.

When an animal needs water, not tied to reflecting, the water absorbs itself into new life.

Daily Tao is a reprint from Ta-Wan's blog, Daily Cup of Tao, which offers one post per day for an entire year. You also can read these posts in an ebook.
