Tao Bible - Ezekiel 32:9

I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.
~ King James version ~

The highest good is like water.
Water give life to the ten thousand things and does not strive.
It flows in places men reject and so is like the Tao.
~ from Verse 8 of the Tao Te Ching ~
I've never understood the logic behind God as a vexer. To vex is to annoy, perplex or bring suffering to. Why would a Heavenly Father want to annoy, perplex or bring suffering to his children?

The imagery most frequently used to describe Tao is water. Water flows without purpose and it provides life-giving properties to all it comes in contact with. Can you imagine water flowing with the sole purpose of annoying YOU?
