Tao Bible - Lamentations 5:22

But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us.
~ King James version ~

The great Tao flows everywhere, both to the left and to the right.
The ten thousand things depend upon it; it holds nothing back.
It fulfills its purpose silently and makes no claim.
~ from Verse 34 of the Tao Te Ching ~
God's relationship to humankind is often described in the Bible as being controlled by a spigot. At times, the spigot is in the on position and God pours out himself to people. At other times, the spigot is in the off position and God turns his back on humanity.

Tao, on the other hand, always flows. Tao holds nothing back. Tao's presence is spigot-less. The spigot is a human construct and what it really denotes is our receptivity to the Way.

  1. Practices like qigong and meditation are ways to open and unblock the spigots of your human construction when you are blocked. Like Drano or a plunger.
