For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. In many ways, God is a lot like Santa Claus! He's always watching -- trying to see who's naughty and nice. Evidently, he makes lists too!

Tao isn't a record-keeper. Tao isn't a judge. Tao is the process of the cosmos. The only creatures that I know of that keep score are humans.
