Kindness doesn't necessarily equate to mushiness. All it really signifies is to be humane, good-natured and generous. I mean, let's get real. Isn't that the way we want others to treat us?

But kindness alone is not enough. A great leader also needs a vision, strategy and tactics, and a convincing rhetoric. And he can't be a wimp.
