Tao Bible - Jeremiah 33:14

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
~ King James version ~

Therefore the sage takes care of all men
And abandons no one.
He takes care of all things
And abandons nothing.
~ from Verse 27 of the Tao Te Ching ~
Because the captive Israelites have turned back to God and promised to worship him, he says he will return them to their homeland and make them a great nation. God's goodness would seem to be conditional.

Tao provides for all with no conditions. The sun shines and the rains fall on the good and the bad just the same.
