As much as we discuss on this blog the personal nature of experience and self-discovery in relation to Tao, human beings are social creatures. It is not enough to embrace the Way for our own individual being; if we don't translate this understanding into mechanisms to benefit others, what's the point?

  1. The Huainanzi is not just a Taoist text, but a broader expression of Chinese philosophy, and therefore with more socio-economic significance.
