Tao Bible - Isaiah 66:4

I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
~ King James version ~

The valley spirit never dies;
It is the woman, primal mother.
Her gateway is the root of heaven and Earth.
It is like a veil barely seen.
Use it; it will never fail.
~ Verse 6 of the Tao Te Ching ~
When the Christian God gets ticked off -- he is angry and/or disappointed -- he likes to vent his wrath on who he perceives as the transgressors by teaching them a lesson they will soon not forget!

When we stray from the path of Tao, there are lessons to be learned. These lessons, however, are not directed by Tao. Tao is impartial and steady. If we make use of Tao, the eternal Way will never fail us.
