Tao Bible - Isaiah 47:6

I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.
~ King James version ~

The world is ruled by letting things take their course.
It cannot be ruled by interfering.
~ from Verse 48 of the Tao Te Ching ~
This is an odd verse because God admits that his own meddling has "polluted" his Chosen People. Because he meddled, he's now upset with himself. How can a perfect being be upset at all?

Tao doesn't meddle or interfere. Tao nurtures and lets the flow of existence take its course. By allowing the true nature of things to stay true to themselves, there is nothing to be angry about.
