Tao Bible - Isaiah 34:2

For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

Whenever you advise a ruler in the way of Tao,
Counsel him not to use force to conquer the universe.
For this would only cause resistance.

The Christian God supposedly is all-knowing, yet many of the acts ascribed to him go against the ways of life. As Lao Tzu observes, when we try to force things to get others to submit to our will, the natural response is resistance.

One would think that God already knows this, but he just can't seem to help himself!
