When I first launched this blog in 2005, it was a one-man operation. In May of last year, it became a two-writer blog with the wonderful addition of the prose and poetry of Scott Bradley. Today I'm happy to announce we have expanded to become a three-headed "monster" as Scott and I welcome Ta-Wan as a contributing writer.
While Ta-Wan periodically will share his marvelous insights on Taoism and Zen on this blog, I am confident he will continue to maintain his own first-rate blog, Tow Wow (one I have read for the past 3 years). We will also begin to share with you each day a post from another of his blogs, Daily Cup of Tao.
I like the fact that you will now be afforded the opportunity to read the musings of three separate and distinct writers. Unlike a religion, there is no orthodox creed for philosophical Taoism. We each must ply our own paths and, as a result, we each have different experiences and insights. This certainly will be reflected in the ideas and observations each of us chooses to share with you.
And I will add one other thing. If there are others of you out there who would be interested in signing on as a contributing writer, feel free to contact me. While we're not looking to grow the stable of writers here just for the sake of growing the stable of writers, this blog has always been open to those people who are interested in exploring the world from the standpoint of philosophical Taoism.
That is not to suggest that the three of us or any new contributor[s] won't write on other topics -- I write on other topics all the time! -- but the underlying meme that ties all the writers together is, of course, Taoism! :-)
