Tao Bible - Isaiah 14:21

Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.
~ King James version ~

Tao affixes no blame.
~ possible Taoist alternative ~
I don't know about you, but I find the notion that children are punished for the misdeeds of their parents to be both abominable and primitive.

Tao doesn't participate in the blame game. When our actions are adverse to our internal nature, they produce stress, tension and imbalance. We don't need an external entity to punish us; we do a darn good job of it ourselves!
