Just the other day I wrote about how picture perfect the weather has been in South Bend this summer. While most of the rest of the nation has been dealing with mind-numbing high temps, it has been beautiful and seasonal here.
I didn't think today would be any different. Our forecasted high was 69 degrees which would be in the neighborhood of what we've experienced over the last two weeks.
It turns out the forecast was a bit off. The mercury climbed to 90 degrees and the northwest wind that was supposed to blow...didn't.
I really can't complain since this represents only our third high above 80 degrees this summer. That said, in an area that can go 2 or 3 consecutive summers without any 90 degree days, it feels hotter than hades!! I'm actually sweating just sitting here.
Oh well.
