He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.For me, both the Christian and the Taoist lines point to the idea that boastfulness can get a person in trouble. We often think too highly of ourselves and utilize language to pump up our standing with others. It is far better to live what you believe and to lead by example.
