Tao Bible - Proverbs 12:4

A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.
~ King James version ~

A virtuous woman is a virtuous woman.
~ possible Taoist alternative ~
According to Solomon, a virtuous woman (wife) is to be judged via how it impacts her husband, though there is no mention if the opposite is true.

A person's virtue should be measured onto thyself only. While how we comport ourselves certainly impacts our social relationships, our virtue (or lack thereof) is a statement about each of us and no one else.
