For only the second day in the past week or so, it didn't rain (though it DID overnight). While our temperatures here are nowhere near what they are in most of the rest of the country -- today's high was 53 -- the respite from the rain brought almost everyone out in our neighborhood.
I spent much of the afternoon puttering around in the garden and watching the hummingbirds at our two feeders. Several other neighbors mowed grass or worked on their yards. The kids, of course, ran around like little banshees, whooping and hollering all the way.
Today was a reminder of the lines from Verse 29 of the TTC we have been reviewing in the Line by Line series over the past 4 days or so. The various aspects of life are not constant or, put another way, the constancy of life is ever changing.
It rains in South Bend for a good deal of the year, BUT it doesn't always rain. We don't get a lot of sunshine, but we do get it from time to time. Whether it rains or it is sunny or it is something in between, each day should be embraced for what it is.
