Tao Bible - Psalm 139:6

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
~ King James version ~

The Tao that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao.
~ from the Tao Te Ching, Verse 1 ~
Both lines point to the same thing: the underlying mystery of nonbeing is beyond human comprehension.

Some call it God. Some call it Tao. Some give it other names. But the names don't do whatever it is any justice.

  1. While I agree with your conclusion, I'm not sure that "nonbeing" is a Biblical concept. The Psalmist is talking about God being able to know things about him even before he does; God as psychic, but hardly "nonbeing."
