At times, we will encounter forks in the road and we often won't know which one to take. The only way to find out is to choose one and start down the trail. In time, we may realize that it was a poor choice. Poor choices offer us the chance to gain experience and, potentially, wisdom.

But practitioners of the Taoist arts --taiijiquan, qigong, etc. become skilled and balanced, so they do not stumble. The physical references in these lines are meaningful.
ReplyDeleteTrue, but the key word in your sentence is "become." The process of becoming involves stumbling along the way. If not, what would be the purpose of the practices of taiijiquan and qigong?
