For all of our technological and intellectual prowess, we too often neglect the simple truths that can be found in a majestic forest, a wind swept meadow, the timeless tides of the ocean and inside ourselves. The lessons of Tao are there for the taking if we will only look and if we will only listen.

ReplyDeleteMuch fun as it is to pick apart the Bible, and necessary too, I've long felt that there were far more similarities between religions than differences. Much as with people. If we spent more time looking for those, we'd have a more peaceful planet.
But don't get me wrong, I like this series. Sometimes it's helpful to see them side by side, it gives insight.
