“Master,” complained a discouraged monk, “I am fettered with self!”
“So what?” answered Zhouzi. “Be what you are.”
“But Master,” exclaimed the monk, “I would have peace!”
“If you would have peace, accept that you war,” replied Zhouzi. “Bondage does not lie beyond the boundaries of acceptance; and acceptance is a gate to the peace that you seek.”
