A villager approached Zhouzi and said, “Master, all the sages say we must discover our inborn nature, but as hard as I try, it always alludes me.”
Leading him to the well, Zhouzi said, “Look into the well; what do you see?”
“Master, I see only my face reflected.”
“You have seen that which you seek. In this way, there is only this world. There is no other.”
