Tao isn't in the "saving" business. If people only would follow their internal nature, there would be nothing to save them from.

ReplyDeleteBut they don't, do they? So does that mean that people need to be saved? And isn't giving such advice - to follow your own nature - an attempt to save people?
What does it mean to save someone?
To help them, to educate them; or to control them for devious purposes? I suppose it could go either way, depending on what you mean by "save".

That's true, but Tao is not a human being, or is it? People are the only one's in the saving business, right? Some are anyways.
