Tao Bible - 1 Kings 18:38

Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
~ King James version ~

Tao does not need to prove that Tao is.
~ possible Taoist alternative ~
The prophet Elijah calls on God to send down fire to consume wet wood and a wet sacrifice in a competition with the prophets of Baal.

Tao is not a magician that can be called upon to perform tricks. Only an entity, beset by desire, would feel the need to prove itself. Since Tao is desireless, there is nothing for Tao to prove.
