Tao Bible - 1 Chronicles 10:13

So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;
~ King James version ~

That which bears a form eventually returns to formlessness.
~ possible Taoist alternative ~
Saul's death to the Philistines is attributed to the fact that he ticked off God.

The origin of all things is formlessness and nonbeing. When, for whatever reason, we attain a form and being, we are granted the opportunity to tarry for a while. Eventually, however, all forms die and this death is in line with the laws of nature, not because of who we are or how we lived. The good and the bad, the compassionate and the wicked all meet the same ultimate fate. There are no exceptions.
