Tao Bible - Exodus 3:20

And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.
~ King James version ~

The ten thousand things rise and fall.
~ possible Taoist alternative ~
In verse after verse, God shows that he is beset by the same emotions and attachments as his progeny. In this verse, he tells Moses that he will send wrath down on the Egyptians for oppressing the Jews, his chosen people.

Tao is not an entity and so it has no will. Unlike humans, it does not form attachments which give rise to emotional responses.

If the Egyptians suffer some calamity, it is because of the natural processes in the cyclical nature of the cosmos. It certainly is NOT because Tao has deemed it so.
